Faith Within Recovery
The most important part of recovery is finding faith, in yourself, in the universe around you, and in whatever God you believe in. Recovery is about finding your broken pieces and healing those pieces to become a better version of yourself.
“Blessed are the cracked, for they shall let in the light”
Grouchy Marks
We’re all broken, nobody is alone in that. The entire human populace of today’s society is broken in some way. But there is light in the dark and we all pray to find it regardless of how broken we are. What we fail to realize is that we are the light.
Each and everyone of us is capable of letting the light come to them by excepting our own demons. They’re there as warnings to remind us of why we should avoid those similar situations. They are lessons and in order to find the path to the light.
Guidelines for what is acceptable and what is not. Our boundaries are built off of those experiences. It is up to each of us to recognize the trauma, validate the feelings, then recognize the boundary that you need in place to be able to move on.
These boundaries we, myself and my self made family, call our core values. We have learned that we are only able to heal and grow by standing by these core values, no matter what others have said or think about them with our healing. We have been able to find our family legacy and the amazing story that we have to carry on long after we are gone.
Our hope is that you can find the same from our stories and experiences. Our goal is always to be better today than we were yesterday, and we will be discussing it in our podcasts.
Every day is a new day, with new beginnings, and things to be grateful for. Today and every day forward we will take a look at the past to apply boundaries to our future goals and be grateful for having them. Not everyone does, it’s up to each of us to walk into the dark, so we can figure out how to make the light shine.
Sincerely,
The broken little teapot, & Family.
